Excellent work.

Having waited for months for "my Slater" to check the cast iron gutters before the painter started, along with some general tidy up of cracked and missing slates. I phoned Wanye on a Thursday around 6:00pm. I had a quote through the letterbox on Friday and called to accept and give go ahead on the Friday evening. All done within a week - and that included a holiday weekend! Additional "bits" attended to promptly and without fuss. Follow up work identified (genuine work not any kind of job creation stuff) and "booked for a dry day". Very happy with work and customer service and obviously delighted with response time. I have a different number stored under 'Slater' now!

I called Wayne on Thursday evening regarding an issue we had been having with a leaky roof. He came out first thing the next day, identified the problem and took pictures for us to see. He came back on the Sunday to fix the problem (had to wait for parts to be ordered) and took further pictures to show us the problem resolved.

The whole process was simple, efficient and he was obviously very knowledgeable in his field meaning we have every trust in him. I would highly recommend Wayne for his professionalism and customer service.

Wayne responded quickly to a cry for help to fix a tenant's leaking roof. He arrived to inspect the damage within 3 hours, did a quick temporary fix and returned within the hour with materials to do a permanent repair, all at reasonable cost. I was so impressed I asked him to check for other potential problem tiles. He gave a very fair quote and returned (to my surprise) later the same day to complete the work. He was very punctual, explained issues simply and clearly, and did a good job very quickly. Delighted with the service and would certainly use again.

Wayne was recommended by a colleague, after having been let down by a roofer to replace some missing slates and repair a damaged skew. On acceptance of the quotation, Wayne arrived later the same day to start the job and completed the work the following day. After recents storms several slates and dry verge had been blown off my house roof which in turn damaged garage roof. After a week an insurance assessor came out and estimated the value of damage. He said we would be quicker to organise the repair ourselves. The first slater we called came around and had a look telling me that he could give a quote however could not carry out the repair to February 2012. I then checked the Rated People Website and was put in touch with Wayne. He contacted me,gave me a quote and carried out the repair the same day. He also replaced guttering which I had been struggling to get repaired for months. I have kept Wayne's number and will contact him again if I have any other roofing problems. his price was reasonable as well.

Excellent service from Wayne. Having been let down by two other roofers, (who do not feature on TA I should add), I contacted Wayne through the TA website. He came round that same day to give me a quote and came the next day to carry out the work, even though I know he was up to his eyes with other storm damage work. Many thanks Wayne. Excellent service. The only complaint might come from Santa as he will now have to come down the chimney as he does every other year, rather than come through the gaping hole in the roof that Wayne has now fixed. We had only been in our (first) house for 2 weeks when the recent storms blew a tile off so the prospect of finding a tiler was rather daunting, but Wayne was recommended to me by a colleague and the process couldn't have been much easier. Wayne came out within hours of calling, and I didn't even need to leave the office - he returned to collect his payment after I finished work. Very reasonably priced and stress free.

After recent storms quite a few tiles were blown off my roof, I contacted my insurance company who advised it would be at least 48hrs before an assessor could come round to assess the damage. This was unacceptable for a roof with tiles missing and other loose tiles still on the roof that could fall at any time. I contacted Wayne who came round that day for a look and the job was completed within 2 days. Wayne undertook some guttering cleaning and repairs at my property in August 2011. Wayne was able to attend and carry out the work soon after I accepted the quotation and the work was completed quickly and efficiently. A small item was missed on the first visit, however this was rectified quickly when Wayne was advised. Overall I am very happy with the standard of work carried out.

Recent storm blew off a ridge slate. The next morning I called Wayne and we met in few hours. He inspected the damage proposed new slate / colour and finished the job as agreed later that afternoon. I was very happy as the job was completed immediately and reasonably priced. As I have a problem with gutter from before, I asked Wayne to sort that out also - waiting for quote now. after reading waynes reviews on this web site i gave him a call to look at a long term problem with my roof!!
wayne came out and gave me a free estimate for the work required and even took some pictures of the work he carried out on my property , this work was done over a few weeks ago and i waited for some rain to check the work done (no leaks now) very happy now all problems are sorted would call him out again if i have any future work

Having already unsuccessfully had a tradesman out to trace the root cause of dampness in my flat I was surprised when Wayne diagnosed the problem instantly but full credit to him, he removed and replaced the skew a few months ago and the wall is now completely dry.

Had to wait a wee while for him to come round but when he did come round he worked on till 9pm on a Sunday night as the forecast was poor for the following few days.

This is the second time i have used Wayne for cleaning out the gutterings and would totally recommend his services. At the start of the process we were very wary as we had just been ripped off by a supposedly highly recommended company who actually botched our garage roof repair and refused to sort things out. We are landlords of a property in Westhill but reside in the Netherlands.

Wayne was superb. He answered all our queries, initially by telephone then confirmed them by email to both ourselves and our estate agent. He then liaised with all 3 parties in order to replace the entire garage roof. The work was carried out efficiently and on the dates stated by Wayne. He also sent us photos of the completed work and gave us a written guarantee.

Wayne was recommended to me by a work colleague and he met all expectations. He did a job for me promptly and as a result I also used him again for some further roof repairs. Absolutely no hesitation in using him again and referring him to anyone else needing roof work done.

Wayne previously carried out repairs on our roof by removing a skylight window. As he did a good job and had identified (in line with our house purchase survey) a problem with the chimney stacks - cracks in the cement - we got him to carry out this additional repair work. Wayne did this over a couple of visits. He was extremely neat and tidy in his work and we are very pleased with the repairs. We also appreciated that he let us know of a wasp bike which prevented him from conducting the work and happily returned after we had killed the wasps off with no additional charge for his time.
